A spokesman for the Basque regional police said no measures were taken to evacuate the airport in northern Spain because the call was not deemed credible.

Two people died and dozens were injured last Saturday after a bomb exploded at an airport parking garage in Madrid, shattering a nine-month cease-fire by the Basque separatist group Eta.
