Soham prosecutor to defend man in prostitute murders case
A barrister who prosecuted Soham murderer Ian Huntley is set to represent a man accused of murdering five Ipswich prostitutes, a lawyer said today.
Karim Khalil QC had been instructed to appear in court on behalf of 48-year-old Steve Wright, who has been accused of killing five women found dead in Suffolk villages south of Ipswich last month, said Wright’s solicitor Paul Osler.
