Bombs kill five civilians in Baghdad

Two roadside bombs killed five civilians and wounded 23 others in central Baghdad today.

The bombs exploded shortly after 10am local time opposite a park in the South Gate area, a police officer said.

South Gate is often crowded with commuters and shoppers.
