Tsunami heading for Philippines

Japan’s Meteorological Agency says a one-meter-high tsunami is headed for east coast of Philippines.

The agency says it is possible the tsunami could be a destructive local tsunami after a magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck off south-western coast of Taiwan was recorded in the last hour.
