Earthquake kills seven on Indonesia's Sumatra island

An earthquake killed seven people and injured more than 100 others on Indonesia’s Sumatra island early today.

The 5.5-magnitude tremor, felt across western and northern parts of the island, destroyed at least 20 houses and damaged scores of others, said local official Josikar Tanjung.
