A battle for livestock among nomadic tribes in north-western Kenya killed 19 people and wounded six, authorities said today.

A battle for livestock among nomadic tribes in north-western Kenya killed 19 people and wounded six, authorities said today.

The battle started yesterday morning in Lorengippi, about 120 miles from Kapenguria, and lasted about two hours, said Lodwar Police Chief Benard Muli.
