US: Man, woman and two children found dead in apartment

A bloodied baseball bat, a dead man with a hypodermic needle still in his arm and the bodies of two teenagers and a woman were discovered in their apartment, fouled by the odour of their decomposing bodies, police said.

Investigators said they believe the man killed the woman and her children, picking them off one-by-one, before committing suicide.
