Pinochet in serious condition after heart attack

Former dictator Gen. Augusto Pinochet was hospitalised today after suffering a heart attack and is in a serious but stable condition, the Santiago Military Hospital said.

His son said he underwent an undisclosed procedure that “rescued” him from death.
