Kidnapped men released in Nigeria

Kidnappers in Nigeria today released a Briton and an American seized by gunmen in speedboats last week from a vessel off the country’s oil-rich southern coast, a government official said.

The two unidentified men taken hostage on Thursday were freed and transported by authorities to Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa State, said Ekiyor Welson, spokesman for the local state government.
