Three Nato soldiers wounded in Afghanistan
A clash between insurgents and Nato-led troops in eastern Afghanistan left three soldiers wounded, an alliance spokesman said.
The clash occurred yesterday in the eastern Kunar province, said Maj. Luke Knittig, a spokesman for the Nato-led force.
He did not disclose the nationalities of the wounded soldiers. Most of the troops in the area are American.
Tamim Nuristani, governor of the neighbouring Nuristan province, said three US soldiers were slightly wounded near the border between the two mountainous provinces yesterday following insurgent rocket attacks.
