South Korean Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon – the next UN secretary-general - arrived in China today to discuss sanctions against North Korea over its nuclear test.

Ban was scheduled to meet Chinese President Hu Jintao, State Councillor Tang Jiaxuan and Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing.
