Suicide bomber blows himself up in Afghan capital
A suicide car bomber blew himself up in the Afghan capital today slightly wounding one child.
Police had been following the bomber and surrounded him before he blew himself up in an area of Kabul near its international airport, said Mirza Mohammed, a police officer at the scene.
One child was slightly wounded in the blast and taken to a hospital for treatment.
Pieces of the vehicle and the bomber were strewn across the blast site as police and Nato-led troops tried to seal the area.
