Prosecutor: Mladic arrest in matter of days
The arrest of General Ratko Mladic could come within days, Serbia’s war crimes prosecutor said, but warned that the top fugitive remained shielded by a mysterious “professional group, well-versed in security matters”.
Vladimir Vukcevic told the Vecernje Novosti daily he was “convinced that it was a matter of days when we’re going to have the final result” in the years-long hunt for Mladic, sought for major atrocities during the 1992-to-1995 war in Bosnia.
