Al-Arabiya TV is reporting the leader of al-Qaida in Iraq has been killed, citing unidentified security sources.

The Iraqi deputy interior minister says Iraqi officials are doing DNA tests to determine if the killed militant is al-Qaida in Iraq leader Abu Ayyub al-Masri.
