Amish school death toll rises to four

A fourth US child died today from wounds suffered during the shootings at an Amish schoolhouse in Pennsylvania.

The seven-year-old girl died at about 4.30am American time at Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey, said hospital spokeswoman Amy Buehler Stranges.

“Her parents were with her,” Buehler Stranges said.

“She was taken off life support and she passed away shortly after.”
