About 40 people were feared dead in flooding from a dam collapse in northwest Nigeria, state radio said today.

About 40 people were feared dead in flooding from a dam collapse in northwest Nigeria, state radio said today.

The dam gave out on Saturday after heavy rains apparently overwhelmed the structure, according to Radio Nigeria.
