Rockets fired at consulates in Iraq

The Iranian and British consulates in the southern Iraqi city of Basra came under rocket attack during the night.

The Iranian and British consulates in the southern Iraqi city of Basra came under rocket attack during the night. The missiles caused no injuries, police said today.

Five rockets hit the area of the Iranian consulate. One hit a room in the building. Another struck a car parked outside. A third hit the compound wall while the fourth fell in the garden, Basra police said.
