Terror members released
Two members of the Jemaah Islamiyah terror group who were detained in 2002 have been released, Singapore said today.
Said bin Ismail and Munain bin Turru were released yesterday under restriction orders that govern their activities and movements, the Ministry of Home Affairs said in a statement.
The ministry said Said and Munain had co-operated with Singaporean authorities who were investigating the terror group, and “had responded positively to rehabilitation,” including religious counselling.
