A gunman in a black coat opened fire in the cafeteria of a college today and wounded 12 people before shooting himself.

Scores of panicked students at Dawson College in Montreal, Canada, fled into the surrounding streets after the shooting broke out in the school of about 10,000. Some had clothes stained with blood.
