Suicide bomber targets Afghanistan mosque

A suicide attacker detonated explosives inside a mosque in the southern Afghanistan city of Kandahar today, killing just himself and causing no other casualties.

No other people were inside the Sunni Muslim Saidon Mosque when explosives underneath the bomber’s clothing detonated, destroying several rooms and walls in the mud brick building, said policeman Jan Mohammed.
