Fourteen British armed personnel died today when the Nato aircraft in which they were travelling crashed in southern Afghanistan.

Fourteen British armed personnel died today when the Nato aircraft in which they were travelling crashed in southern Afghanistan.

The aircraft was thought to have come down due to a technical fault at 4pm local time (13.30pm Irish time) 12 miles west of Kandahar in southern Afghanistan.
