Man held at airport in family murders probe
Detectives hunting the killer of a mother and her three children arrested a man at Heathrow Airport today.
The 36-year-old suspect was detained shortly after 7am after getting off a flight from Thailand.
He was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the deaths of Uzma Rahan, 32, and her sons, Adam, 11 and Abbas, eight, and daughter, Henna, six, whose bodies were found at the family home in Cheadle Hulme, near Stockport, Cheshire in England.
The bodies were discovered by police on August 20 after neighbours had noticed a powerful smell emanating from the house.
Mrs Rahan and her children are all thought to have died from serious head injuries.
