26 drown as minibus falls into India reservoir

A packed minibus plunged into reservoir in southern India today, killing 26 people heading out for a picnic.

The accident occurred as their minibus headed for the Almatti dam in the state of Karnataka, the Press Trust of India news agency said, quoting district officials.
