Two killed, five injured in Baghdad car bomb attack

A parked car rigged with a bomb exploded today in Baghdad’s eastern neighbourhood of Rashad, killing two civilian pedestrians and injuring five others.

The explosion, which took place about 100 yards away from a police station, also damaged four civilian cars, said police Lieutenant Bilal Ali Majid. He had no other details.
