Israeli overflights reported in Lebanon

Israeli drones and warplanes crisscrossed the skies above Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa Valley tonight near the Hezbollah stronghold of Baalbek, security officials said.

They said there had been anti-aircraft fire to drive off the aircraft but no weapons fired by the Israeli drones and jet fighters.

The Israeli military said it would not comment on whether there were overflights, but said Israel had “not attacked Lebanon since the ceasefire”.
