Afghanistan: Roadside bomb hits Nato patrol
A roadside bomb rigged to a parked bicycle hit a Nato patrol in the Afghan capital today, injuring three soldiers.
The blast struck in Kabul’s northern neighbourhood of Khayrkhana, smashing the windows of a nearby car, police spokesman Ali Shah Paktiawaal said.
The blast hurt three soldiers, Nato spokesman Major Toby Jackman said.
Kabul has been spared most of the violence affecting the south and the east of the country. A roadside bomb went off on Saturday outside a Nato base in the capital, but no one was injured.
