Turkey bomb blasts injure several people
Two bombs exploded within 10 minutes of each other in southern Turkey today, leaving several people injured, police said.
The bombs were placed in front of banks in the southern city of Adana, a police officer said, giving no other details.
A journalist for CNN-Turk television said in a live broadcast that about 10 people were injured in the explosions, which were around 30ft apart, including police officers who had rushed to the scene after the first explosion.
Leftist and Kurdish groups are both active in the region and have carried out bombings in the past.
