Mumbai bombings death toll rises to 207
Authorities today said that a total of 207 people were killed in last week’s train bombings in Mumbai, India.
The death toll has fluctuated since the explosions a week ago on packed commuter trains.
It rose to 207 after officials added people who died after being taken to hospitals in Thane, a town outside Mumbai.
“All of them are blast victims,” said BM Raut, a disaster management official in the state government of Maharashtra, where Mumbai is located.
