Russia condemns Israeli attacks

Russia today condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and in Gaza, and called for the release of Israeli hostages.

In a strongly-worded statement, Foreign Ministry spokesman Mikhail Kamynin also called for Israel to respect Lebanon’s sovereignty.
