Palestinian toddler dies of injuries from missile

A 15-month-old Palestinian boy injured in an Israeli missile strike last month has died of his wounds, Israeli and Palestinian health officials said today.

The toddler, Khaled Wahbeh, died at Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital yesterday, after sustaining severe head wounds in a missile strike on the southern Gaza town of Khan Younis on June 22.

The botched airstrike, which hit a Palestinian house, killed two Palestinians and wounded 13 at the time.
