One US-led coalition soldier and five militants have been killed in a clash in southern Afghanistan, the coalition said today.

One US-led coalition soldier and five militants have been killed in a clash in southern Afghanistan, the coalition said today.

Militants attacked a coalition convoy in the Baghran Valley in Helmand province yesterday, killing the soldier and wounding another, said spokesman Sgt. Chris Miller.
