Israeli aircraft fire missiles in southern Gaza

Israeli aircraft today fired missiles at empty areas in the southern Gaza Strip, causing no injuries, Palestinian officials and the army said.

Initially, Palestinian medical officials said a car had been targeted, but then said the car was just close to the open area hit by the missiles.
