A poll carried out by Sky Italia TV today indicated that Italians had narrowly voted against a package of sweeping changes to their country’s post-war constitution.

A poll carried out by Sky Italia TV today indicated that Italians had narrowly voted against a package of sweeping changes to their country’s post-war constitution.

The poll consisted of telephone interviews to 2,200 eligible voters who were asked during voting yesterday – and also in the run-up to the referendum – how they intended to vote.

It showed that 52% had rejected the measures and 48% had approved them.
