Israeli bus hit by gunfire near West Bank settlement

Palestinian gunmen attacked an Israeli bus in the West Bank today, slightly wounding one woman, Israeli officials said.

The bus was attacked near Ofra, a Jewish settlement about 20 miles (north of Jerusalem, the army said.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the shots appeared to have been fired from the nearby village of Sinjel.

Israeli police and troops were searching for the gunmen.
