Three killed in Iraq car bomb
A parked car bomb struck a neighbourhood in south-western Baghdad this evening, killing at least three civilians and wounding 14, police said, as sporadic violence persisted in the capital despite a security crackdown.
The car was parked near several stores, including a bakery and a grocery shop, when it exploded about 8.15pm in Sadiya, a mixed Shiite-Sunni Arab neighbourhood, police Lt. Mutaz Salahuldin said. He said three people were killed and 14 wounded.
