Two car bombs hit Kirkuk
Two car bombs targeting police exploded within 30 minutes in the northern Iraq city of Kirkuk today, killing at least 15 people and wounding 15.
The first explosion was a parked car bomb targeting a police patrol at 7.45am in the city centre. Ten people, including two policemen and eight civilians, were killed and nine people, including a police colonel and eight civilians, were wounded in that attack, police said.
