Terror leader al-Zarqawi 'was still alive' after initial aristrike

Terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was still alive when Iraqi police arrived at a site that was bombed by US forces, a top-level spokesman for American military forces said today.

A US military spokesman today said that al Qaida terrorist leader Abu Mauswab al-Zarqawi was still alive when Iraqi police arrived at the site of a US air strike.

US Maj. Gen. William Caldwell said that al-Zarqawi was moving when Iraqi police got there and that US forces also saw him alive.
