Lithuanian coalition govt resigns

Lithuania’s three-party government collapsed today after the withdrawal of a key coalition partner being investigated for alleged corruption.

Prime Minister Algirdas Brazauskas announced the Baltic country’s government was resigning after an emergency meeting with his ministers.
