Baghdad bombs kill three
A pair of bombs ripped through central Baghdad just after dawn today, killing three people and injuring 21, police said.
The bombs, designed to kill the maximum number of people, were planted next to each other and were detonated in succession in Baghdadās Tahariyat Square, police 1st Lt. Thaeir Mahmoud said. Many were injured as they rushed to the scene of the fist explosion.
