27 people found in truck bound for Britain

Dutch police found 27 immigrants hiding behind tomato crates in the back of a truck bound for Britain during a routine check, a spokesman for the country’s border police said today.

The truck’s driver, a 42-year-old Dutchman, was arrested last night on suspicion of human trafficking, Captain Frank van Veldhuizen said.
