Djibouti girl has H5N1: WHO

A young girl in Djibouti has contacted the H5N1 virus, the East African country’s first human case of bird flu, the World Health Organisation said today.

“I believe the person is still alive. It’s a two-year-old girl,” Who spokesman Dick Thompson said in Geneva.
