Australian teacher on terror charge after bombs find
Australian police today filed a terror charge against a high school teacher who allegedly stockpiled bombs at his home in the east coast city of Brisbane.
John Howard Amundsen, 40, was charged with preparing for a terrorist act and two counts of making a threat and making a hoax threat.
Further details of the charges were not immediately released.
Earlier today, Amundsen appeared in a Brisbane court charged with fraudulently obtaining 53 kilogrammes of an explosive substance called Powergel. His lawyer angrily denied he was a terrorist.
