Car bomb kills eight Iraqis in Baghdad

A car bomb exploded in Baghdad today, killing eight civilians and wounding 46.

The blast occurred at 9.45am local time on Palestine Street, a major road in a mixed Sunni-Shiite residential area of eastern Baghdad, said police Lt. Thair Mahmoud.
