EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana told a special European Parliament committee today he has “no information” that CIA agents interrogated al-Qaida suspects at secret prisons in Europe.

EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana told a special European Parliament committee today he has “no information” that CIA agents interrogated al-Qaida suspects at secret prisons in Europe.

Solana said he and EU governments would welcome further clarification from Washington on alleged incommunicado detentions of terror suspects.
