At least four killed in bomb blast at Italian base in Iraq

A bomb blast rocked an Italian base in southern Iraq today, with Italian news agencies reporting at least four people killed and one seriously injured.

The bomb targeted a three-vehicle convoy in the city of Nasiriyah, destroying at least one of the vehicles and killing four people on board, the Italian news agencies ANSA and Apcom reported, citing Italian government sources.
