Plane with 80 on board 'crashes in Nairobi'

A passenger plane with 80 people on board reportedly crashed while attempting to land at Nairobi Airport today.

The plane was en route from Kisangani, Congo, airport officials said. The cause of the crash was not known.

There have been heavy storms in the Kenyan capital since late yesterday, with lightning and heavy flooding.
