Nigerian militants release British and US hostages
Militants in Nigeria today released their last remaining foreign hostages, setting free two American oil-industry workers and one Briton after more than five weeks in captivity.
Abel Oshevire, spokesman for the oil-rich southern Delta state government, said Americans Cody Oswalt, Russell Spell and Briton John Hudspith were released just before dawn and were now with the local governor in Warri, James Ibori.
