An explosion in front of a British bank injured two people in south-eastern Turkey, a police official said today.

Bomb squads were inspecting the area in front of the HSBC bank’s branch in the city of Diyarbakir in Turkey’s heavily Kurdish south east, the official said on condition of anonymity.
