Mother held after bodies of three babies found

A 36-year-old woman was arrested today after authorities discovered the bodies of three newborn babies believed to have been her children, police said.

The corpses were discovered on Saturday in the town of Neuendorf in the central German state of Saxony Anhalt. It was not immediately clear what led police to the bodies nor exactly where they had been hidden.
