10 die in Thailand bus crash

A bus hit a motorcycle on a road in northeastern Thailand, killing 10 passengers and injuring 30 others, police said.

The accident occurred in Udon Thani province last night and killed four women, five men and a girl, said police Captain Prakong Maiyapan. The motorcycle driver was among the people injured.

The Bangkok-bound bus crashed in Udon Thani’s Kumpawapi district, 280 miles northeast of Bangkok, he said.
